I think in pictures more than words. As a child, I thought everyone thought this way, much like someone who is color blind thinks others see only what they see until they are told differently.

My Specialties

Beginning with the simple square, triangle and circle, all forms evolve. My work with many talented artisans during the construction of buildings has fostered my respect for the materials chosen to implement designs.

Art

As a visual artist, tangible objects are my preferred way of thinking about ideas and frequently they provide a quiet clarity that the noise of conversation misses.

Chronolog

Habits are formed through repetition. One of my habits is to walk at sunrise and less frequently at sunset, using my iPhone to capture the beauty around me.

Multimedia

Occasionally, I select from a different menu either with materials or ideas. Experimentation and collaboration can be rewarding.

CONNECTING CULTURES

The TEA Project

Over a cup of tea, conversations begin. This exhibition shares with you the works of 44 artists who expressed their interpretations of the human experience of connecting over tea. We now invite you to participate by looking, listening and conversing.

Featured Projects

Although I prefer abstracts, I often try to add a recognizable element or shape as an entry point. Depending on where I am in creating the series, this element may be more or less visible. And I work with a variety of mediums because it keeps me enthusiastically returning to the studio every day.
